Carbon Fiber Fabric


Carbon fiber fabric is made using carbon fiber, and it is woven in either a bidirectional plain weave or a twill weave. The carbon fibers used in this study have been shown to be stronger and stiffer compared to their weight. In addition, the carbon fabrics can conduct heat and electricity, and they can withstand a lot of stress without breaking.


When designed well, carbon fabric composites can be as strong and stiff as metals but much lighter. Carbon fabrics have been shown to work well with different types of resin, such as epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resins.
